The Oldest Wine Beverage in The World

Wine beverage may have been drunk by people including the king of Egypt thousands of years ago. In the tomb of King Scorpion I, the archaeologists discovered the oldest old wine jars in 5000.
However, alcoholic beverages of wine was probably not just to get drunk. Because, at the bottom of the jar was found residues of other materials. For example, medicinal plants, resins, and other natural substances.
Population experts believed the ancient Egyptian potion and uses it as an herb for treatment. Wine used to dissolve these materials and separating plant alkaloid substances useful for the treatment.
“In addition to additive substances that taste good, they have to increase their health benefits,” said Patrick McGovern, an archaeologist from the Museum of Archeology and Anthropology University of Pennsylvania, USA.
The discovery of the oldest wine jar is also providing new facts that the culture of hundreds of years earlier than previously thought. Previous oldest evidence of the painting papyrus 1850 years old. Thus, the use of wine was 1500 years older.
